South Porcupine Winter Carnival 2011.
A family oriented weekend of fun. It offers children from 2 to 92 a wide variety of activities designed to bring the community together and celebrate Winter. Events are intended to promote pride in our community while getting residents physically active and generally having a good time. Join us downtown South Porcupine.

Crowning of Prince and Princess, Live Performances ,Awards Ceremonies, Guest Speakers

- 7:00 pm – Golden Ave. School free skating party and hot chocolate.
- 6:00 pm-8:00 pm - Royal Canadian Legion Branch #287—Moose Calling Contest
- 9:00 pm-2:00 am—Lip Sync Contest and Pub Night—Northern College Cafeteria. Doors open at 8:00pm. To register call—235-3211 ext 2137
- 9:30 pm—Jake’s-Live Music– Fiberglass Moustache
- 9:00 pm—Airport Hotel—Live Music

- 10:00am - 12:30 pm—Breakfast for Homeless Vets—Royal Canadian Legion Branch #287
- 10:00 am - 4:00pm - Inflatable Rides for kids up to grade 4 at Golden Avenue

- 10:00 am-4:00 pm– Helicopter Rides at Northern College (weather permitting) $40/person
- 11:00 am-4:00 pm— Scout Hall on legion drive - Hot Dogs/Pop, Snowshoe Golf, Kids games, 50/50 Bingo, Candy floss-Horticultural Society
